Both these engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission system, but the more powerful engine offers steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and improved cooling components.

Towing Capacity & Fuel Efficiency
With great off-roading power, the 2023 Ford Bronco® Sport SUV can tow approximately 2000 to 2200 pounds. The Badlands trim has many special features. It features an Advanced 4×4 twin-clutch rear-drive system with a differential lock. It also offers components like a 1.0-inch suspension boost, sturdier shock absorbers, Ford Trail Control™, and all-terrain tires on 17-inch wheels. This sporty crossover SUV is also a very efficient vehicle offering excellent fuel economy ratings. The Bronco Sport trims with a three-cylinder engine achieve an EPA estimated rating of 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. In contrast, the trims with a four-cylinder engine achieve a rating of 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.
