Recently, the Ford Ohio Assembly Plant was cleared to start producing the newest year of Super Duty Chassis Can trucks in F-350, F-450 and F-550 configurations. This new year of chassis cab vehicle will, like the traditional pickup 2017 Ford Super Duty, benefit from the weight-saving (and power increasing) advantages of military-grade aluminum side paneling. The new chassis cab Super Dutys will be up to 350 pounds lighter than the previous generation, even with enhancements to the axles, hubs, and brakes which will allow these truck to handle even greater work loads.

- High-strength steel frame with an open-C-channel design behind the cab to simplify aftermarket body upfit and enhancements
