How will the Ford Pro™ pilot program work?
Companies throughout the country, including Penske Truck Leasing and National Grid, have received preproduction units of the Ford E-Transit van as part of the Ford Pro™ pilot program. The intention is to leverage early learnings to help with deployment when the vehicle hits the market early next year. These E-Transit pilot vans will be used in fleets across various industries, including rental, delivery, service, maintenance, telecom, and utilities, to demonstrate how battery-powered vehicles combined with Ford Pro Charging solutions and Ford Pro Intelligence can help improve fleet efficiencies.
