How do I insert/eject a DVD?
Your Rear Seat Entertainment System has a pair of disc compartment slots hidden at the top of each monitor. Place the DVD about halfway into the disc compartment slot with the label facing the rear of the vehicle. The DVD should automatically begin playing. You can also select the disc icon from the source menu to begin DVD playback mode. You can eject a disc by pressing the eject button located to the left of the disc compartment slot.

Can I have one DVD play on both monitors?
Yes, you can have one DVD play on both of your Expedition’s Rear Seat Entertainment System monitors using a feature called “Screen Mirroring”. Simply select “Mirror” from the home menu of the other monitor. Once selected, this feature will copy the screen of the opposite monitor onto the selected monitor.

How do I stream content from a mobile device?
Your Expedition’s Rear Seat Entertainment System also has a SmartStream feature that allows you to wirelessly stream content from your mobile device straight to your monitor. To get started, just select “SmartStream” from the Source menu. Then follow the instructions provided on-screen for downloading the Ford FES app and connecting to the wireless network. Once completed you will be able to select which monitor to stream to and select a supported file to stream.
