Differences between 2015 and 2016 Ford F150

There are a few different reasons why drivers may choose a pickup truck over a different vehicle such as an SUV or a spacious hatchback, and one of the main reasons is because of the power and space. A pickup is the kind of vehicle you want on your side for every occasion, no matter how big or small.

For the new model year, the 2015 Ford F150 is more refined and capable than just about any other model year vehicle. It is made from military-grade aluminum alloy rather than heavy-duty steel, which makes the vehicle up to 700 pounds lighter. This in turn increases the vehicle’s efficiency and makes it much more environmentally friendly.

Many critics thought that the switch to using aluminum alloy would mean that the vehicle would be weaker and would not hold up as well in a crash, but those doubters were proven wrong with the most recent crash-test safety ratings. The aluminum model is actually safer than the one that uses steel!

Because the F150 was JUST remodeled, we don’t think there will be TOO many differences between 2015 and 2016 Ford F150 trucks, but there will be a few new features that only come in the 2016 Ford F150.

For example, the 2016 Ford F150 will have the capabilities to use all-natural propane gas as it leads the way when it comes to innovative energy-saving techniques. Other new aspects of the 2016 Ford F150 include the pro trailer backup assistance system that helps back up and park a trailer, as well as its new headlights that can be seen up to a mile away.
