How Fuel Efficient is the Newest EcoSport SUV?
The EcoSport subcompact SUV is powered by a choice of two engines. With the standard 123-horsepower, 1.0-liter EcoBoost® engine the vehicle will achieve an EPA-estimated 27 city / 29 highway / 28 combined mpg. Versions with Intelligent 4WD are endowed with a more powerful 166-horsepower, 2.0-liter engine, but even this engine will return an impressive 23 city / 29 highway / 25 combined mpg.
With both engines featuring Auto Start-Stop Technology, the 2020 Ford EcoSport does an excellent job cutting unnecessary fuel waste. This system automatically shuts off the engine while idling and then seamlessly restarts when you begin to move. Either power plant will be matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
