Transit Connect Cargo Van Cargo Space Features
Dual sliding side doors are standard on the Transit Connect Cargo Van and provide easy access to the cargo area. Ford offers the option of equipping the doors with fixed glass windows on both sides. Without the windows, the doors each feature a flat panel, providing the ideal space to promote your business. Frequent ladder users can save some interior cargo space by adding the van’s available roof rack.
Regarding rear cargo access, the Transit Connect Cargo Van offers two options. First is a pair of swing-out rear cargo doors available with or without fixed glass. These doors sweep 180 degrees outwards, giving unobstructed access to the cargo area. Those in areas prone to less-than-ideal weather can opt for some shelter with the available rear liftgate. The liftgate easily flips up and out of the way while providing some necessary cover from the elements while loading and unloading. Also featured on the liftgate is fixed glass equipped with a defroster for those brisk and icy early mornings.

This site has been MORE than helpful for me to compare the specs of the SWB and LWB and much more. Thank you is not enough ……you have helped a LOT. Much more than sales reps at dealerships. Ground work and research is very important. The Correct information in that research is vital. Thank you!!
Yes thank you for this. Finding a coherent source of info (specifically on max cargo length) is really hard out here on the internets. Now I just need to figure out how to describe this vehicle to my insurance co. they don’t seem to be able to figure out the exact variant I’m looking at either. But this page is really useful and appreciated!
