Everything You Need to Know to Enjoy the 2018 Chattahoochee Butterfly Festival near Atlanta GA
The 2018 Chattahoochee Butterfly Festival is taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, at the Chattahoochee Nature Center – 9135 Willeo Road in Roswell, GA. Each day will be filled with fun family outdoor adventures like live butterfly releases, butterfly encounter exhibits featuring hundreds of butterflies, a plant sale, delicious food, drinks and treats, craft and face painting booths, and live entertainment. Most everything is going on throughout the entirety of each day, except for the butterfly releases. Weather permitting, the releases will happen at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday – though those times are subject to change if the conditions call for it.
