2017 Ford GT 1966 Heritage Edition added special features
Ford has just announced a special edition of the new Ford GT car that will commemorate the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans sweep. The 2017 Ford GT 1966 Heritage Edition added special features all pay honor to the iconic GT40 Mark II race car.
“The 2017 Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition is a stunning tribute to the car that kicked off Ford’s string of Le Mans victories in 1966.” – Raj Nair, Ford executive vice president, product development.
Heritage Edition Ford GT Exterior Features
The Heritage Edition GT begins by offering a special Shadow Black exterior. This dark paint is broken up by silver racing stripes and Frozen White #2 graphics on the hood and the doors. The gold satin clearcoat of the 20-inch carbon fiber wheels provides one final accent.
