2017 Ford Fusion new interior console
The 2017 Ford Fusion new interior console has been designed to increase the storage potential of the car. Ford developed this console with the smartphone in mind, adapting the new Fusion to the needs of the current state of technology and communication.
Ford’s new console offers 59 percent more storage capacity than previous models. Several bins have been added to the console, including a special phone pocket, and to the interior of the car that offer handy storage spots within easy reach. Ford has also increased the length of the console by three inches, adding to the comfort of the car.
A new media storage bin and storage slot have also been added under the infotainment screen of the car. This special bin offers a lighted USB port and 12-volt power outlet to keep everything charged and running.

2017 Ford Fusion Models and Options
The new console is not the only element of the new Ford Fusion interior that has been designed to maximize comfort. 2017 models can be equipped with all of the best comfort and technology features Ford has to offer. These features are spread out over the car’s five trim levels: S, SE, Titanium, Platinum and V-6 Sport. The Fusion can be equipped with features like heated seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, keyless ignition and entry, LED daytime running lights, the SYNC 3 infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control and a 12-speaker Sony sound system.
