October will be here soon, and that means Halloween season is on its way. If you are looking to have a spooky good time this October, Akins Ford has put together a list of 2016 haunted house near Atlanta that are sure to be a ton of fun.
Nightmare’s Gate Haunted House
Located in Douglasville, the Nightmare’s Gate Haunted House will be open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from September 30 to October 30, and on Halloween night. Hours are from 8:00 pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Sundays and Thursdays. While there is no age limit, this is an adult-oriented haunted house. Parental discretion is advised.

Fear the Woods
Fear the Woods includes a haunted house, Terror Transport and haunted trail and the Pandemic: Frontline Haunted Combat attraction. Fear the Woods is located in Stockbridge and will be open weekends from September 30 to October 31 from 7 pm to midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween night and from 7 pm to 11 pm on Sundays.
13 Stories Haunted House
This all indoor haunted house will be open rain or shine. Attractions include the Apocalypse Zombie Kill Experience, Ward B, Zombie Alley, Clown Haus and Sacrifice, which has been named one of the top 10 extreme haunted attractions in the United States.
Camp Blood
Camp Blood will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from September 16 to October 31. The ticket box office opens at 8 pm with the show starting at 9. Camp Blood helps support the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Netherworld Haunted House
The grand opening of the 2016 season of the Netherworld Haunted House will be held on September 23. The haunted house will be open every evening leading up until Halloween. Netherworld is located in Norcross, just a few miles from Atlanta.
