James Bond has a well-earned reputation for being suave in conversation, fast on the draw, smooth with the ladies, and always having the very best custom ride. James Bond and the Ford Mustang
The first appearance of the Ford Mustang on the big screen was in Goldfinger, when Tilly Masterson drove a white Mustang convertible, which was later totaled in their conflict. A pale bule 1969 Mustang Convertible also appeared in Thunderball driven by Fiona Volpe. The 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback also appeared in Diamonds Are Forever, where Bond used it to evade the Las Vegas Police in a high speed chase.

Ford Thunderbird and Bond movies
The Ford Thunderbird also made more than one appearance in Bond films. This elegant vehicle played a bit part in Goldfinger as the ride of the two CIA operatives, and more recently the 2002 Ford Thunderbird was driven in Dive Another Day by Jinx. There was even a special “007 Edition” of this vehicle issue that year in honor of its appearance.

Other Ford vehicles that have appeared in Bond films include the 1965 Mercury Cougar convertible, 1971 Econoline, 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner and the 2006 Ford Mondeo.
