What Audio Systems are Offered on the 2019 Ford F-150?

2019 Ford F-150 Sound System Options

Whether you’re venturing off on a lengthy road trip or just tackling a 15-minute commute, music has a way of shaping the moment on the road. That’s why Ford has put endless amounts of energy into crafting a variety of ear-pleasing setups. Audiophiles of all genre preferences can enjoy the wide selection of sound systems offered on the 2019 Ford F-150. Keep reading to see what audio systems drivers can find at each trim level of the F-150 lineup.

F-150 XL and XLT Audio Systems

At the bottom of the 2019 F-150 lineup, the XL and XLT come equipped with a standard 4-speaker audio system with the Regular Cab configuration. Those that upgrade to the SuperCab or SuperCrew configurations are automatically upgraded to a 6-speaker setup.

Also available on the XL, the Audio Upgrade by KICKER can be applied to the SuperCab/SuperCrew. The upgrade adds an 8-inch subwoofer and an integrated 100-watt digital amplifier.

An upgraded audio system is available on the XLT with the addition of Equipment Group 301A. The $2,100 package offers a 5-speaker system on the Regular Cab and 7 speakers on the SuperCab and SuperCrew. Other features added by Equipment Group 301A include:

  • SiriusXM with 6-month All Access trial subscription
  • rear-window defroster
  • 8-way power driver’s seat
  • 4.2″ productivity screen in instrument cluster
  • manual-folding sideview mirrors with power
  • heated glass and integrated turn signal indicators
  • autodimming rearview mirror
  • leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • power-adjustable pedals (SuperCab/SuperCrew)
  • rear underseat storage (SuperCab/SuperCrew)

F-150 Lariat and Raptor Audio Systems

Both the Lariat and Raptor trim levels are suited with a standard 7-speaker audio system.

Lariat and Raptor drivers also have the option to upgrade to the 10-speaker Bang & Olufson Sound System with the addition of Equipment Group 502A (Lariat) or 802A (Raptor).

F-150 King Ranch, Platinum and Limited Audio Systems

On more upscale models like the King Ranch, Platinum and Limited, the F-150 offers the Bang & Olufson Sound System as standard.

The system’s 9-channel amplifier pumps up to 1,000 watts of sound through its 10-speaker setup, which includes 4 midwoofers and a subwoofer. Passengers with the B&O system enjoy an optimized listening experience thanks to careful speaker placement, tuning and calibration.
