These three 2018 Ford Flex trim levels share two engines, including a 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine that is standard for the entire 2018 Flex lineup. This engine is mated with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and offers the choice between front- and all-wheel drive. The power ratings for this powertrain are 287 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque, and the gas mileage ratings are 16 city MPG and 23 highway MPG with front-wheel drive or 16 city MPG and 22 highway MPG with all-wheel drive. A 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine is also available for all 2018 Ford Flex trim levels. This engine is also mated with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, though only all-wheel drive is available for this engine. The power ratings for this engine are 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and the gas mileage ratings are 15 city MPG and 21 highway MPG.
