Ford has unveiled its newest subcompact SUV – the 2018 Ford EcoSport. It may be Ford’s smallest SUV to date but it’s got the biggest personality of any vehicle on the market, and it hasn’t even begun arriving at dealerships yet. When will it be arriving you ask? 2018 Ford EcoSport New Powertrain Features
The 2018 Ford EcoSport will feature either the award-winning 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine or the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine. Either way, the 2018 Ford EcoSport will provide you with everything you need for an exciting and dynamic ride. And no matter which engine you choose, you’re getting an impressive six-speed automatic transmission while those choosing the 2.0-liter engine will get Ford’s intelligent four-wheel drive system standard.
2018 Ford EcoSport Storage Features
We already mentioned that the 2018 Ford EcoSport will be Ford’s smallest compact SUV, and that might make some of you worry about what kind of passenger and cargo space will be available. The full specifications for the 2018 EcoSport haven’t yet been revealed, though Ford has said there will be enough room to keep passengers comfortable. There will also be as many as 30 stowage pockets, bins and hooks that will make efficient use of every inch of the interior. A cargo management system in the rear will also feature a movable floor board and fold-away second-row seats to provide a flat area for moving furniture and other larger items.
2018 Ford EcoSport Release Date
An official and exact release date for the 2018 Ford EcoSport hasn’t yet been released, though Ford has said it plans to release the new compact SUV in early 2018. That means we have quite a while to wait for this exciting new vehicle, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the process.
