Just when you thought the best couldn’t get any better, Ford has decided to increase the performance specifications on the 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang. The 2017 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang new performance features will make this the ultimate performance car.
Track Package now standard
The headlining change to the 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang is that the Track Package will now be included as standard equipment, unlike previous models. This package adds an aluminum tower-to-tower brace, high-downforce decklid spoiler, a MagneRide damping system and engine oil, transmission and differential coolers.

2017 Shelby Mustang new packages
In addition to the standard Track Package, the 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang will be offering two new available packages. An Electronics Package includes the new SYNC 3 system along with voice-activated navigation and an upgraded nine-speaker audio system. The second new package is the Convenience Package, which includes everything from the Electronics Package, but adds leather-trimmed power sports seats.
GT350 Mustang new colors
For the 2017 model year, the Shelby 350GT Mustang will be available in three new colors. Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue will join Race Red, Magnetic, Triple Yellow, Oxford White, Shadow Black and Avalanche Gray in the Mustang color lineup.
The Shelby GT350 Mustang has always been Ford’s most track-focused performance car. The star of the car is the 5.2-liter V8 engine, which pushes the horsepower over 500.
2017 is set to continue this trend of increasing the Mustang’s performance. Including the Track Package options as standard features expand the capabilities of the GT350 Mustang, further establishing its place as one of the best in the sportscar segment.
