The 2017 Ford Mustang has made its debut and is now appearing in dealership inventories everywhere. The latest version of Ford’s iconic sports car is offered in several different models. The 2017 Ford Mustang trim levels and features help customize the car to fit the needs of every driver.
2017 Mustang Trim and Engine Options
The 2017 Ford Mustang starts off at the base V6 trim. Like the name implies, this trim comes equipped with a standard 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine. In addition to the powerful engine, the Mustang V6 also comes equipped with a great collection of comfort and technology features. These include automatic xenon headlights, LED taillights, a limited-slip rear differential, rearview camera, auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless ignition and entry and dual USB ports.

Next up is the Mustang EcoBoost trim. This model comes with all of the features listed above, but instead utilizes a turbocharged 310-horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. This engine is able to earn the best fuel economy ratings available on the new Mustang, checking in at an estimated 22 city/31 highway miles per gallon.
The EcoBoost Premium trim the four-cylinder engine and adds heated mirrors, a rear diffuser, ambient interior lighting, a nine-speaker audio system, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, selectable drive modes and the Sync 3 touchscreen 8-inch infotainment system.
Next up are the GT and GT Premium trim levels. These two trim levels follow the same pattern as the EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium models, but switch out the four-cylinder engine for a 435-horsepower 5.0-liter V8.
