2017 Ford Expedition storage capacity
The 2017 Ford Expedition is starting to make an appearance on dealership lots. Ford’s full-size SUV is ready for any challenge. One of the core reasons for choosing a vehicle this large over other smaller models is the added storage capacity provided. So what is the 2017 Ford Expedition storage capacity?
2017 Ford Expedition vs 2017 Ford Expedition EL
With both rows of rear seats folded down, the 2017 Ford Expedition offers 108.3 cubic feet of storage space. Leaving the seats up allows the SUV to seat up to eight people, but drops the storage capacity to 18.6 cubic feet. This is still a larger number than your average family sedan.

If even more storage space is required, Ford offers the Expedition EL. This longer body style greatly increases the storage capacity of the SUV substantially. With the rear seats folded down on the 2017 Expedition EL, the SUV offers up to 130.8 cubic feet of cargo space. The EL body style is available in all of the same trim levels as the standard Expedition.
2017 Ford Expedition Engine Performance
Regardless of which Expedition body style you choose, under the hood will be a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. This turbocharged engine gives drivers access to 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy estimates on the engine check in at 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 mpg on the highway for the standard body Expedition and 15 city/20 highway on the larger Expedition EL.
