2017 Ford Escape Sync Connect
The new Escape will be the first ever to have smartphone app integration. You’ll have to read more about what the 2017 Ford Escape with new Ford Sync Connect technology can in other posts, but let’s just say whether you need to find your SUV, or check the tire pressure, or just plain want the doors to open, yeah, there’s an app for that!
2017 Escape Driver Assist Technology
Of course drivers don’t just want to be able to control their vehicle with a couple swipes on their smartphone screen (though that is certainly cool). It’s also important to be safe once you are on the road. To that end the new Ford Escape includes a host of new and returning safety technology features like:
- Adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning
- Active parking assistance
- Lane departure alerts and lane keeping assistance
- Driver Alert System, which detects when a driver is becoming drowsy even before they can and offers warnings
- Blind spot and cross-traffic alerts
- Hill-start assist
- Automatic high-beam control
- Hands-free, foot-activated liftgate
